Yes, he has been in the studio since September of 07 and the album's title is The Autobiography, he has said that the album will be more lyrical and personal while having that commercial sound. Here's his quote

Mims: I announced my second album back in September, and its release date is June 4, 2008. I have production from Blackout Movement, myself, and Irv Gotti. In case you haven't heard, I have released the first single from the album "Amount To Nothin'" featuring my artist Kimberly "Kimi" Hall. The second single will be released next month and it is my song "Clap That" a song left off from my debut.
